My two favourite directors are Robert Altman and Peter Greenaway. Robert Altman once said, and possibly I paraphrase as this is from memory, "The worst thing you can say about a movie is I don't want to see it again."

Every one of Altman's movies MASH, McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Nashville...  (recently rereleased) I would happily watch again.

Peter Greenaway's The Draughtsman's Contract (music by John Nyman) and Drowning by Numbers remain firm favourites.

Sigourney Weaver's Alien series I like a lot, the second being my favourite.

Andy Warhol's Heat I have watched several times.

Stanley Kubrick's 2001: a Space Odyssey, Clockwork Orange and The Adventures of Barry Lyndon.

Four Weddings and a Funeral is my favourite comedy, closely followed by Monty Python and the Holy Grail and The Life of Brian.
